How does the booking process work?

1. Select your adventure and preferred date through our website or by contacting us.

2. Complete the booking form and payment online.

3. Receive immediate booking confirmation via email.

4. Within 24–48 hours, receive a second email confirming your adventure details, meeting location, and preparation tips.

What happens if weather conditions prevent the hunt?

If unsafe weather prevents us from conducting your adventure, you will have the option to:

• Reschedule to another available date, or

• Receive a full refund, whichever you prefer.

What happens if I don’t see any game during the hunt?

While our guides scout the best areas to maximize your success, encountering game is ultimately unpredictable. Our team goes above and beyond, scouting active zones days before your hunt to maximize your chances for a fun and rewarding experience.

What is the refund policy?

• Full refund for cancellations 7 days or more before your scheduled date.

• 50% refund for cancellations made between 24 hours and 6 days before your scheduled date.

• No refund for cancellations within 24 hours or for no-shows.

If North Coast Adventures PR must cancel due to weather or operational reasons, you will be offered a full refund or reschedule option.

Do I need a special permit for pigeon hunting?

No.
Our Rock Pigeon Hunts do not require any special permits beyond what we already include. No additional DRNA migratory bird permit is necessary.

Why hunt green iguanas and rock pigeons in Puerto Rico?

• Green iguanas cause significant agricultural, structural, and environmental damage.

• Rock pigeons are invasive pests that damage crops, spread diseases (like salmonella and cryptococcosis), and cause structural deterioration in urban areas.

Participating in these hunts helps control invasive species and protect Puerto Rico’s natural environment.

What caliber rifles do you provide?

We provide high-quality air rifles chambered between .22 and .25 caliber, ideal for the size and type of game we hunt.

Can I bring my own hunting equipment?

Yes, you may bring your own air rifle (.22 or .25 caliber) or compatible hunting equipment.
Advance coordination is required to ensure compatibility with the hunt.

Are there physical requirements?

• Iguana and pigeon hunts require moderate walking on uneven terrain.

• Caiman hunts involve nighttime navigation through wetlands and require moderate physical fitness.
  Please inform us of any medical conditions in advance so we can properly accommodate you.

What add-on services do you offer?

• Airport pick-up and return (SJU and other airports with custom quotes)
